        Everything Mike posted about this is true.  One thing to keep in
mind is that the Spitfire has and always will have quite a bit of
negative camber in the back.  The car will also tilt to the driver's 
side.  Try the following test.  Roll the car empty for about 10 feet 
or so and check to see if the car sits level.  If it does, then you probably
just have a tired rear spring.  If the car still sits crooked, you should 
also look for problems in the front suspension.  
        The front wheels on a Spit have positive camber.  When this is 
combined visually with the body lines, the negative camber in the back 
looks pretty outrageous.
