I globbed all this together... :-)

I assume that this is a balanced blob of plastic... Maybe that's why
it's a bit more pricey?

My bolt was way loose, a few weeks back, but fortunately, I (well
Lawarence actually) caught the problem before any damage came through.
Anyway, be sure you use some locktite 242 on that big bolt so this
won't happen again!

WheelSkin

I believe the source is a cow. Could be a goat, but I'd bet a cow is
the source. (sorry Lee, I couldn't help myself :-)

ST Louis

Okie, I'll bite... I will be in ST Louis for approximately three
hours in the ST Louis Airport making a connecting flight on November
24th and should be at the Airport between 12:30 - 3:30. (I think)
I'll have to check the ticket to be sure and I believe there is a
snowstorm due in Denver on that day :-). Any St Louis solers care to
meet for lunch at the airport? I'll have pictures of the DC -> Denver
trip along with some other tidbits...

TR Flex

Well, mine isn't as bad as most, and Paul Gilders is next to perfect.
(well, not Paul, but his door sag... :-) I guess the TR show cars just
like to flex to show off. Actually, I talked to someone about this,
and they said that many of them came right off the showroom floor like
that. I was probably talking to a body man who couldn't fix the door
right...

Manifold coatings

DO NOT buy the Stainless Steel paint. It will work for about 6
months, then will start to flake away. I have talked to several
people at car shows about this stuff and have yet to find anyone who
is happy with it. I had my manifold sandblasted, then painted it with
two coats of the stainless paint and it looked GREAT. Six months
later, it didn't look so great. I wouldn't use it again, but YMMV.
I don't have any experience with the other products.

High Pressure Fuel systems
==========================
I am more worried about driving a convertible with lucas electrics and
a 20 year old carbs which sit right over the exhaust manifold than a
PI system blasting gas everywhere. Don't get me wrong, concern is
always justified, which is why I carry a fire extinguisher behind the
passenger seat.

You can tell me worrying doesn't help... Half the stuff I worry about
never happens!

They are indeed "vertical", side draught SU's. I'm just trying to
illustrate that there's no damper in the older design, altho the pistion is
similar.
