A friend of mine bought a Griffith in 1965. Two problem areas with his
car were body cracks and "checking" of the massive plastic rear window.
His car sat outside mostly and got lots of exposure to the hot southern
California sun so the window problem wasn't much of a surprise, but the
body cracks were an ongoing annoyance.

My friend's car is not to be confused with the current TVR Griffith,
which is very different . The '65 Griffith had the older style TVR body
and was powered by a 289cid Ford V8.
