Shocks

Aside from not being able to adjust Konis on the car, what are the
differences between Spax and Koni shocks.  I going to need to replace
my stock-style shocks soon and I've been brainwashed by various
catalogs into believing that one or the other of these brands is the
way to go.  The difference in price is small, so what else does one
base the choice on?
