TR7s have Bosch fuel injection. That includes the fuel injection computer,
all the sensors, injectors, etc. The wiring harness might be Lucas
and the fittings (plenum chamber, etc) are all Triumph but the
rest is all Bosch.
TR8s also have Bosch fuel injection but with one VERY important difference:
the fuel injection computer is Lucas. Rod Barman guesses that Bosch
hadn't yet made a computer with lambda feedback for a V8 yet so Lucas
ended up building one (ca 1980).
Victoria British still sells ECUs for TR7s (at least they did last time
I checked). Give them a call and see if they can give you the Bosch
part number.
