RE:MGB Smog Test - Advice Needed

Sometimes especially with a dual carb set up high HC (Hydrocarbons or 
raw gas) can be caused by one carb running too lean!  The other richer
carb keeps the engine  running and the lean mixture on the second carb
doesn't really burn and just blows out the exhaust.  Colortune will 
tell the story better.  It is just wrong to assume that if HC's are hihg
high that the WHOLE engine is running rich.
