Last year while touring around Wyoming on a bike, I ran into about 50
MGs touring the Yellowstone and Grand Tetons area - mainly vehicles in
the T-series and older - this was a fantastic experience for me even
though I wasn't in an lbc myself. Anyway, this year I'm returning to
the area at about the same time (late August) with my parents (my
father's a real old car freek), so was wondering if this event would
be happening again, or whether the MG club were meeting elsewhere. I
know that the event I bumped into last year was a National event and
I'm sure that somebody on this list must know if it's happening this
year again.

Also just a quick comeback on my previous starting problems. The true
problem was operator inadequacy - I've found out that I was just being
too mean with the choke, fearing overcarbonation in the combustion
chambers. I now know to pull the choke boldly out for initial start
and reduce it immediately - it works really well - starts first time
every morning!

The latest on my shipping to the UK is that I shall be driving my TR6
to Baltimore next Friday (13th - ahhh!), where it will sit in the dock
for a while and then be sent on its way to England - arriving in
Southampton on the 7th September. I hope to be able to drive it out of
the dock on the 9th if all goes well. I think my father is more
worried than me about my TR6 passing MOT (inspection) - at least he's
used it as an excuse to get midget out of his garage - he said it
started first time - it's been sitting there for 5 months!

Paul.
