I have a bunch of the clear nylon washers (well, sorta semi-opaque
white) and I did rummaged through the plumbing and electrical
departments of several local hardware stores looking for red fiber
washers of the correct size. Found plenty of washers of the "correct"
type but none the right size. I'll probably end up using the nylon
washers. Screw the concours judges!
