The vacuum bleeder kit that I bought (can't remember the name but it is the metal one, and not the mighty-vac) came with a small tube of 'brake fluid compatable grease'. You are suppose to put this stuff on the bleeder threads to prevent air from leaking around. It helps somewhat, but seems to wash away rather quickly. Does anyone know what 'breke fluid compatable grease' is? I hope Girling Red Rubber Grease will work when I run out of the translucent white stuff. |
