Electronic Ignition for 67 Alpine

I am thinking of getting an electronic ignition for
my Alpine. Sunbeam Specialties sells an Allison XR700
ignition kit. Is this brand as good as any or are some
ignition kits better than others? Does any body think
that I should avoid an electronic ignition (beside
the fact that it did not originally come with the car)?
