Interesting LBCs.
I was over at a fellow LBC enthusiast's home last night discussing
replacement of partially melted pistons from a fuel supplye problem
last weekend...and took a look at his new acquisition/project. He
has acquired a quite solid MGA Twincam Coupe LHD (one of 94). The
car is quite solid but needs cosmetic everything, plus the usual
mechanical overhaul. Based on his last restoration, an MGC, I
expect it will look pretty spectacular when completed, although he
will have quite serious $$$$ invested by that time.
Meanwhile, I have ordered a new set of .040 over Longman forged
pistons and am upgrading my fuel supply substantially, Webers sure
seem to require more than SUs.
