I'm sure this got answered already, but it means that there it two
inches of play at the top of the tire. There is alot more moment
there than right at the bearing so this is very possible... In fact
my driver side hub proves this theory to be correct!

Roger Bolick warns of putting new springs on an early TR6 and writes:

I just bought a set of new springs for my '75 TR6. Would anybody like
the old ones for $10 a piece + shipping?

At the Waynesboro meet, I talked to Pat Mullin about rear TR6 hubs.
His car was so well done that I asked if he did the hubs himself. He
said that he put them in the freezer for two days and then used a gear
puller to separate the hubs... How would freezing the hubs help pull
them apart? I would think that all the iron in there would shrink at
the same rate... I think I'm going to take mine to a shop, but has
anyone else heard of this?

It's a '75 and I have no clue as to the '69 PCV setup... :-(

Cheer(io)s,
