British Cars in the Silverstate 100

I published my entire account of the Blublocker Silverstate
100 in four parts mostly to the exotic car and wheel to wheel
racing lists. If there is interest, let me know and I can
send it to individuals here (or even publish to the group, perish
the thought, I was running the NSX...)

But I digress. There were several British cars of note that
were entered. A Morris pickup, dressed in beautiful primer, was
entered in the touring class (maximum speed is 110 mph). There
was a lot attention paid to this car and was one of the favorites!

There was a newer Aston Martin, sorry, I do not know the specific model.

And finally there were two older Aston Martins, a DB4 (again, I think)
and a DB6. Apparently the owner of the DB6 invited a Cosmonaut, one
of the scientist types to run with him as navigator. The object of the
high speed runs is to predict your average speed over the 90 miles
of open road, and then get closest, rallye style. The Cosmonaut was
frustrated because the mile markers were not accurate! He calculated
quickly enough that they were off and he was compensating on the fly.

(My navigator said he could read the mile posts at 140 mph but had
difficulty at 160 mph so the problem was mute from our perspective...)
