While it's nice to be able to say that I have a factory hemi V-8 in my
LargeBC, one is obliged to also say that the Daimler's displacement is
only 2.5L. That's 153 cubic inches.
So, while it makes some nice noises getting up to speed, it's 0-60mph
time of 13 seconds is not going to blow the doors off of anything.
Below I've appended some hard numbers I dug out of my archives for both
Jag Saloon's and then for a variety of LBC's.

hemi: Any engine fitted with hemispherical heads, indicative of high
performance. The most famous American hemi was the MOPAR 426ci Hemi V8
(7L, 425hp stock) fitted as a $700 option to late 60's - early 70's
Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars.
