Can I hazard a wild guess here? Is there any chance that some vacuum/vapor
lines got transposed with fuel lines? Maybe a check valve removed and re-
installed backwards? I have heard of this problem occurring in other cars,
but so far I have been unable to reach a particular acquaintance on the
phone to find out how he fixed them. Attempts will continue today...
