In one of the autobody books I have, they show applying Waxoyl inside
frame members by using a length of stiff tubing (looks like nylon or
some other plastic). They use a screw to plug the end, and poke some
small holes around the end to create a 360 degree spray pattern. Then
you simply pull the tube slowly through the frame while spraying the
Waxoyl. A similar scheme should be doable with paint, perhaps one of
those pump-up spray-can deals could be adapted.
