That should probably be "a", not "the".  Moviemakers invariably use
multiple cars.  I read something about Bond's DB5 once upon a time,
and I'm sure there was more than one, although I can't remember how
many.  Some were used for exterior shots only, though, and didn't
have Q's switches inside.
