I went down to Sears last night and bought an air compressor. I was going
to get the 3 HP 12 gallon model and I was already at the cash register
after the salesman had checked to see if it was in stock when he said,
"You know, we have another model back there that isn't on the showroom
floor." Turned out that they had some "special order" 3.5 HP 25 gallon
compressors in stock for $299. So, I got that one. For $30 more it
seemed like a prudent choice.
I bought a jitterbug sander and an air gun too. Can anyone recommend
air tools that I just won't be able to live without? I plan on
getting an impact wrench and a paint sprayer and a wet sander, but
beyond that I don't know what is valubale to have around.
How important is the PVC plumbing for painting? When we painted
my car we didn't use it, but if it is a valuable addition I might
repair it.
Thanks,
Will
