No, it was definitely a real TF.  My dad has a TD, and we have helped
a friend with his TF enough so that I know that it was a TF.  Except for
the color, it was in good 'working' condition.  That is to say, it looked
like it could be driven to work every day, but it wouldn't win any concourses.
