Reply to: Cutting Foam For cutting foam, you can get some nichrome resistance wire with a variable voltage supply, strecth it on a frame of some sort and sort of melt through it. *** No need to get that fancy. Just use an electric knife, the kind with two reciprocating blades that you use to carve the turkey on Thanksgiving. This cuts the foam quite precisely. BTW, to upholster a seat, you should use special "seat foam" that you can get at the foam shop ( it ain't cheap ). - Jerry |
