I would reccommend against replacing a SU fuel pump with an after-market pump. The SU pumps are fairly reliable and last for many years when maintained and are also original equipment. I bought a car once with an after-market fuel pump on it and had to put a pressure regulator on the fuel line to keep it from blowing fuel out the tops of my carbs (and onto the header). I'll continue to use SU for as long as they are available. |
