------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to look for my old messages on TR6 tires and I couldn't find
them(the postings) anywhere. I looked up some recent postings and saw
some recommendations for Goodrich Comp TA's 185/65 and goodyear eagle
195/60 's. I went to a local shop and blindly asked "I was looking for
some tires for a TR6" to see what kind of a response I would get. He
looked in his book and said they carry Avon 185 series tires that are
the same size. I thought I remembered someone getting the actual
measurements from a TR6 tire i.e. 185/??, what is the aspect ratio. The
Avon's were ~85.00 a piece and didn't look like anything special. But,
if I knew the exact size of the Michelin redlines I would feel a lot
better about buying tires. I just sold my old Chevy, so I decided to
put the money towards some badly needed new tires for my TR6 (which
should have new floor pans and new rear frame pieces within the next two
weeks.)
Does Yokohama make anything worthwile in a 185,195,205 series tire ?
I think 205 would be the biggest I would want to go, but I would prefer
to stay with 185's or 195's. I don't drive super agressively, but Ipush it
pretty hard on corners sometimes.

     Any comments are really welcomed

   Thanks,
      Dean

P.S. - Does anyone have a tire recommendation list for the mailing list?
