    Back in the early 70's, my dad was fixing the differantial on his Jaguar
 420, and when he had finished, he had a 12" bolt left over.  He looked for 
hours
 that afternoon for the place form whence it came- looked at it the next day-
 still nothing.  He gave it a tender test drive, found nothing wrong, then 
proceeeded
 to drive it as a daily driver for a number of years- nothing ever happened.  
 He still has the bolt in the garage, and when the car reaches it's place in 
the 
 restoration line- we have bets on where it should really be....
