Cleaning wires is a pain. Sandblasting them and painting them is a pain. Disc wheels don't have splines that wear out. You never need a knockoff hammer, or one of those mongo octagonal wrenches that always gets lost in the inner depths of your fenders with disc wheels. Most wires will limit your tyre selection to tube-type, a lot of performance tyres (comp T/A's, for example) aren't recommended for use with tubes becuase of the extra heat from the friction of the tube. But the look sex. I'll put 'em on anyting. |
