I am looking at a 1/12 th scale model of my Europa TC. It is on top of
my
monitor. Painted aproximatly the same color as my car. (The experience
convinced me that I have no future what ever painting things.)
Looking at the top of my tube shows me:
a Z-gauge VW Thing
a Z-gauge 911
a Z-gauge Bug
an HO Gauge Bugeye
and a fisher-price car with driver.
The walls of my cubicle are covered with pictures of the Lotus, my
current Jag Mk 1. and the Mini Cooper I had in Australia. On the back
wall
are pictures of Lotus Sevens taken in Jolly Old by a co-worker while he
was
on "business" travel.
Looking around the office wall yields photos of Bugeyes, 356s, a racing Mini,
a Racing Alfa GTV, My Racing Bugeye, My old stock car (a ford Gran Torino),
James Dean, a Ford Cortina, Andy's MGB Racecar, Newcastle Brown Ale, Winston
Churchill, and dozens of pictures of my girlfriend and our pets. The
desk is strewn with back issues of British Car, SportsCar, and "The Wheel"
and a new copy of "The Loud Pedal".
Question for you. Am I the only one with artifacts of my fixation in my
work place?
Apparently not.
