brakes

I am getting ready to rebuild my brake system. Since the previous owner
drove around with DOT3 fluid I know all the rubber has to be replaced.
I have picked up rebuild kits for the calipers and drums , the master
cylinder as well as new rubber lines.

What I would like is for some one who has rebuilt their system to
give me any hints or cautions they can think of. It would be greatly
appreciated.
