Was that my writeup on "Tuning SU's?" It should have mentioned some of the
alternetives, like Marvel Mystery Oil, and ATF, as well. Light weight
motor oil might mean anything from 10-30 wt. Varying the viscosity of
the oil in the damper can change the characteristics of the carb, you
sometimes need to experiment. The main purpose of the damper is to
prevent "flutter" of the piston, but changing the response time can
also affect mixture, and throttle response.
It should have also retained proper accreditation to the author.
I'll send you my write-up, if you got something else.

Well, I can't guarentee anything, but I'd say - BOTH. The MGB is similar-
They used both orange, white, and a combo of the 2, for the 63-67 models,
and it isn't consistant accross any one year. (2 piece light unit) I've
seen new-car pictures in various modes. After 67, the question goes away,
as they converted to a one piece orange unit.

The GT is all setup for rear belts- there are side and center, threaded,
mounting bolt holes. On the roadster, you'll have to do a little more work.
And, either leave the top up, or remove it. (Who needs them? :-) Hey- so
I got slightly drenched by the cloudburst on my way home from the store
in the Sprite Saturday. So what if the Sprite windscreen doesn't do the
job the B does of keeping the water on just one side? It's short enough
to look over the top...)
Some car seats fit better than others. (In the GT, some are too
tall to fit.) We did have to remove the padded "seat" to get enough room.
Kim enjoys riding in the back of the GT- She gets to kick my elbow beteewn
the seats. If you don't have the padded cushion for over the battery box,
you might be able to snag one from a GT, so that later, when you don't
need the kid seat, they have something to sit on.
(On the other hand, I don't reccommend trying to mount a seat in the
back of a spridget- there just ain't room!)

Well, you might want one of them too. You often need to carry a lot of
accessories when you take a small one somewhere. We can't even fit
the stroller in the GT when all three of us are in there. Of course,
this is just another excuse for us take 2 LBC's :-)
