=====WARNING=====
  The following is the rantings of a devout worshiper of
the Druidic God MOWOG, and as such may be considered
offensive, especially to those who favor the 'standard' brand
of rust ^H^H^H^H iron.
================

  Terianne,
   DON'T DO IT.
   The flying doorstop is an evil, cursed horrible car!
When BL started selling them over here, they stopped exporting
the MGBGT here, to reduce the competition. When that didn't suffice
they stopped production of the MGB altogether, even though they
were selling more 'B's than 7's.
  These same people stopped developement on some gorgeous
replacements for the B, to favor the doorstop.

  But on a more practical level, The motor used in the TR7 is
one of the worst motors ever designed (surpassed only by the
Stag). It is unreliable, even for british standards.
As an example of the engineering brilliance that went into the
motor, the two rows of cylinder head studs, are not parallel
to each other. Therefore in order to pull the head, one must
remove half of the head studs. These of course always rust
into place.
  The doorstop, being a post-75 british car is also Cursed
with Zenith Stromburg Carbs, which inevitably develope holes
in their diaphragms.
  Then again the TR-7 hardtop is almost (but not quite) as
good looking as say a pacer. (I will grant that the 7/8 convertible
is nearly as attractive as the hardtop is ugly).
  Be pure, do not go over to the DARK SIDE, keep the Muggabugget,
and avoid doorstops at all costs.
