It surprises me you would have any trouble finding an FL-300. That's a very
common filter since lots of Fords with 351 engines take it. I usually get them
at Walmart. You can always mail order them from someplace like rockauto.com,
if you can't find them locally.
The FL-1A is another alternative, but that is longer than the other two and
harder to install on a Bricklin. I am not sure if the FL-842 will fit.
Filters from other brands that are equivalent to the FL-300 are Wix 51068,
Napa FIL1068 and Purolator L20081.
