That's great, Greg.

Discount Tire is another chain that usually has the equipment for balancing
lug centric wheels.

It can make a huge difference. My wheels were out of balance for a long time
before I learned about he difference between hub and lug centric wheels and
found a place that could balance them correctly. It is puzzling why so many
tire stores don't know the difference. Lug centric wheels are certainly less
common, but Bricklins are far from the only cars that have them. I have a
Toyota 4runner that also has lug centric wheels.

Bricklin wheels are sometimes out of round so it isn't guaranteed that
rebalancing will solve your problem, but it often can and is certainly worth a
try.

Just called Sam's and they just recently got the lug centric balancing
equipment two months ago. So I am going to take the rear wheels there to let
them try the lug centric equipment to balance the tires. He also told me to
tell them when I took the wheels in to have them fine tuned. He indicated
this would not allow the wheel to be balanced in a range, but only to zero.

If this works this is good stuff here for all Bricklin owners to resolve this
problem. I have worked on my wheels a while to get a good shine on the rims
and I prefer the stock look. I also prefer to be able to drive my car across
town without being shaken.
