first if you cut holes in the header panel it will crack at the corners, just
a matter of time, it may take a while but it will crack. you can gain more air
to rad by shaving off 1/2 inch of the lower bumper. I did mine with a belt
sander between the parking lights, starting with 1/2" in the back fading to 0
in the front, this is not a noticeable mod that does increase air flow, I also
took a plasma cutter to the cross brace and cut some holes in it to allow air
thru it instead of around it.
Transmissions , The T5 and T56 manuals are both doable mods, the biggest
issue with them is the clutch pedal setup.
A c4 auto is an easy swap , a bit lighter, more Hi Po parts available but
still a 3 speed. An AOD is doable a bit of work and it is a bit tight but you
do gain a overdrive.
