Thats a tall order guys! How bad is it? Beyond repair? Has it been sand blasted? I thnk i read on here somewere that someone rebuilt theirs with fiberglass cloth and resin. I have the same problem with with both door bottoms on 308. I would say don't cut any remaining metal out until you explore any and all options.
