I got an email today from William J. Lawyer (wlawyer@iowatelecom.net) with
an interesting question. I haven't gotten to that point yet, so I don't
have any idea what to tell him.

Here's his question:

-----------------

After installing the new heat-shield carpet pad kit in my car, I used a
spray adhesive from a local auto parts store to glue the original carpet
back in place. Problem: the adhesive didn't hold and now the carpet is
loose virtually everywhere. What is a really GOOD carpet adhesive for
gluing the carpet back to the heat-shield carpet pad?

---------------

I've asked him what he's using for insulation. I know there is some stuff
that is quite thin and foil backed on both sided.

Mine looks like compressed wool scraps with a foil backing and is about 1/2"
in thickness. The foil backing is glued to the floor pan. So I'll have the
same problem. Just haven't gotten there yet.

John
