I have VIN 474 and the linkage to the transmission is not staying in place, so
when I push down on the clutch it is loose so it will not change gears. I have
found where the problem is but without a comparison I do not know what the
problem is. I have attached 5 pictures. The "Overview" shows the area. "Closer
Overview-In" shows the assembly in place. "Closer Overview-out" shows the
result after I push down the clutch. Then there are the two "CloseUps".
What is supposed to hold the bar in place? Some kind of clip? A spring? Other?
Thanks,
David Rowe
