Anyone have experience taking the steering column apart? I need to get
the aluminum collar off that the steering wheel attaches to. It's made
of aluminum, so I hate to try using a gear puller by attaching it to 3
of the small screw holes that hold the steering wheel on. The only
other solution that I see is to drill & tap new larger holes in the
collar to try to pull the collar off the spine that it's on. Anyone
else have this problem & solved it??? Any help would be appreciated.
