My feelings exactly.  Heck, I have 2 afbs (now Edelbrock) on my original 426 
hemi -- one of the highest performing engines ever made and they are simple, 
work great, parts are available, and, as I understand, the website has a 
decent tune section.  They are split horizontally instead of verticaly and 
so the weepage is eliminated -- just like the dif between the old english 
bikes v. the japanese ones..  Just a darn good carb and one that should work 
fine. Kim
