Door Brace

Just got one of John Martin's door braces that he's selling on e-bay.  It's 
cast aluminum? with the words Bricklin SV1 in raised letters and looks good.  
It simply slides over the cylinder shaft and is held in place with a pin & 
cotter clip.  Don't know why someone hasn't thought of these before.  Looks 
like 
now I can retire my shower curtain rod.
