Thanks for the replies so far. I asked for an AMC Javelin or Gremlin at the
auto parts store. The cap was the same for both but didn't match mine. I
will try the early Camaro and I sent my original email to Terry Tanner so
hopefully one of these will be successful. I think the original owner of my
No. 1570 had replaced the gas tank and if that included the filler neck and
cap, it could be the reason for my trouble. I will keep plugging away at

What did you ask for - a Bricklin? They are not listed
in most catalogues and NOT in any of the computers.
Try asking for a cap for an AMC Gremlin or Hornet of
the era.
