Unfortunately, I'm not near Michigan. I suspect the Bricklin that Dave
Wolin is restoring was totally custom.
If there were a "kit" I could send aware for it and easily pay someone to
weld it up in the workshop here (Calif.). Just thought it was worth asking.

Don't know where you are at in the country, but there is a company up here
in Michigan that does custom cages that does a really good job. They are
called Big Sky Motorsports. They build them for all the racers up here and
also build cages, roll bars, and outrigger assemblies for our test vehicles.
Ford and GM also use them for their test vehicles. They are very flexible
and very creative as to what they can do (removable side bars and other neat
ideas).
