If you are using one of the air tanks that is made by Terry Tanner, you can feel free to use the new pressure switch since the tank is very capable of holding 250 PSI. The Tank is constructed of 3/8" rectangle tube steel with end plates of equal thickness. The welds are checked and double checked for their ability to hold the pressure ( we check them at 160 PSI ). The current pressure switch we use at the shop is rated for 135 PSI so the 10 extra PSI is not really going to hurt it. John L |
