Stephen is right. Next time it sticks, try disconnecting the alternator
(if its a plug) JUST BE VERY CAREFUL AS YOU CAN SHORT YOUR WIRING HARNESS
and see if the light goes out. If so, then I'd suspect a diode in the
alternator..
