Replacement Guages

I am looking into replacing the guages with some new ones. Does anybody know 
the dimentions of the tach/speedo and the oil/amp/fuel/temp. Has anybody 
replaced theirs? If so,  did you stick with the VDO or go with a different 
brand.....Finally, did you stick with the amp or replace it with a volt 
guage.
