Doug,
Look at your down solenoid. The air is released through a fitting on the
bottom. You should hear/feel the air coming out of it when you lower the
door. You turn the fitting to adjust how fast the air is released. Mine
are very sensitive and just a little turn changes it a lot. Terry recommends
adjusting the up time to 2.5 seconds and the down time to 2 seconds.
