Can Seats be taken apart

Does anybody know if the Orignal Factory seats,can be taken apart,in other
words,the seating area Detached from the back area,I need to do this for
shipping purposes,as Malcom Bricklin,in his infinate wisdom,made the seatbacks
as one piece with the rest of the seats,or does anyone have a picture of the
bare seat frame of the Bricklin seats,so that I cansee what the seat frame
looks like.
