Paint Primer

Since I've replaced so many panels on ol' 1343 during its restoration, it 
will have to be painted.  The rear panels are still acrylic so I want to make 
sure I use the right primer on it.  Does anyone know what primer to use on 
the acrylic?  I've heard horror stories of people using the wrong primer and 
ruining the acrylic.
