Dear Desperate,
Just how slow are they?  The hydraulics took about 11 seconds up or down.  
Anyway, the air regulator is used to control the speed of the doors going up 
-- it should be set to about 2 seconds to get it up. Then the little air 
screws are used to regulate how fast it goes down.  Crank that regulator up 
and see if it changes -- normally clockwise increases pressure. Kim
