Ryan,
I have Flowmasters on my Bricklin but I have (2) mufflers that run from
just under the axle to the rear bumper going straight back.
Flowmaster makes (or used to make) a muffler that had 2 inlets and 2
outlets (just like the stock B muffler).
When I tried to get the Flowmaster I was told that they no longer made
that muffler. I even called Flowmaster themselves and got the same answer.
I think that most of the parts suppliers just still include it in the
catalogs even though they cant get it.
I recently emailed wrenchhead.com and got 2 different responses. One
said that they could get it (on back order), the other said that I could not
get it. Then I emailed them with both of their emails and asked why and I
got another response that said to call them to discuss it further. I think
that I will find out that it is just discontinued and they will try to sell
me something else.
As far as the flowmasters go....I love the sound....there is nothing like
it, but it comes at the cost of a different appearance out of the rear of
your car.
