Well gang, I hope everyone made it home uneventfully. After a detour
to pick up JohnC (my #1 son) from Penn. State, we made it home about
1pm. on Monday.

I must say that Jim, Dan, et al. did one hell-of-a job!!! Great meet!!!
and Great work fellows!!!!

It was great to meet many of you that I've corresponded with over the last
2 or 3 years. Still there were many there that I didn't get a chance to
talk to. Unfortunately, I didn't get to spend much time in the hospitality
room. I was staying with my Aunt a few miles away and had to wrench on my
cousins TR6. But I must say, that both my dad and I had a Great time both
at the meet and with our relatives.

In case you haven't heard, the 1st night at Depot town, I went to take some
pictures. My camera let me take about 3 then decided not to work. No problem
as my dad had his good camera. I asked him to take a bunch. Well after he
shot some 35 pix on a 24 shot roll, he discovered he didn't have any film
in his. Then my Aunt lent me her camera. I want to try and get lots of pix
at the banquet. But we a little late getting back, and got there just as it
started.

So anyone having any extra pictures of the meet please send them to me. I'd
like to try and get a lot of them to put in the next issue of the magazine.
If you know what the picture is of, please write on a small piece of paper
and Scotch tape it to the back of the pix. That way I'll know what or who
it is of.

If anyone has any good stories about their trip and problems, please write
it up and submitt it. As always I'm looking for articles. So far, I've
received 1 from someone I met there for the 1st time.

For those that didn't make it, you really missed a GREAT time. For me, one
of the high lights was the car show - that everyone thought got rained out -
on Friday night. 3 of the unique cars that really caught my attention were:
a 300 SL Gullwing parked a few feet down from about 6 Bricklins, a Davis -
3 wheeler, and the new 2001 Thunder Bird. There were lots of other great
cars there. Thur. night was a car show at Depot Town. Again a great time
and lots of nice cars - including a beautiful Cord!

Take care, and if any of you ever get down this way, please give me a call
and stop by.

John (again always looking for articles)
