In the May 75 C/D magazine test it stated "...the deletion of a
four-speed manual transmission choice. Malcolm Bricklin has deemed it
not in keeping with his car's safety image,..."
I always thought it had to do with the fact an EPA certification
couldn't be had with the AMC 4 barrel motors.
