I was pleased to write you ... no problem. I just thought it might be an
interesting little 'blurp' for the show.
Thanks for responding. I appreciate your attention.

Michael,
Thanks for the e-mail.
We've never done any tests of them here. That was before our time.
Try some of the magazines. I'm sure they've tested one.
Thanks again for writing.

Hi folks!
Love your show! I just wanted to know if you had ever done a report
on the Bricklin SV-1. I am an owner, and am constantly on the lookout for
memorabilia. The Bricklin Safety Vehicle is now officially an 'antique',
since they started building them in 1974. (Mine goes antique in April of
2000). It would be wonderful to aquire anything you've done on the Bricklin
for my archives. If you're not familiar with the car, it is a rare (less
than 2,900 were built) gullwing sports car built with safety in mind (no ash
tray or lighter were included, so that you wouldn't drop a cigarette in your
lap and wrap the vehicle around a tree - see the original sales brochure!).
Specs for the Bricklin were equivalent to the Corvettes of its day. The cars
came with an AMC 360 originally, but most were built with a Ford 351w.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, or see some
in-depth information on
http://www.saintjohn.nbcc.nb.ca/~Heritage/bricklin/index.htm , or on the
Bricklin International Webpage - http://www.bricklin.org .
I look forward to hearing from you - Thanks!
